Your Prenatal Care

Prenatal care is important for expecting mothers, and it is one of the best things you can do for your baby.  If you are not currently receiving prenatal care, please contact Women's Health at CHI St. Joseph's Health Clinic at 456-4200 to make an apppointment with one of our providers or click here to learn more.

Gestational Diabetes can be a serious prenatal condition for 6-7% of expecting mothers.  Diabetes can affect the health and size of your baby.  During the course of your prenatal care, you will be tested for Gestational Diabetes.  If you test positive for Gestational Diabetes, you will be given guidelines on how to control it, including meeting with a dietician and receiving diabetes education counseling from our staff educator.
